Sometimes gpedit.msc gets corrupt and regedit might be the only option.Just follow the following registry key; HKEYLOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCURRENTCONTROLSETSERVICESCDROM.On the right pane modify the autorun from 1 to 0, then restart the system.Please feel free to ask. *
